Aerial silks

Yesterday we put on a bake sale for Feet First to support the purchase of another safety mat for the aerial silks class. It was a success and we had a lot of fun! Thank you to everyone who donated baked goods and to everyone who helped. A special thanks to Islay, a former Feet First’er, who now teaches at Trillium in Arcata. Margo made lovely strawberry tutu cupcakes, with a fondant tutu on the top! Yay!

Classes will be taught by Jessica Rubin on Fridays at the Redwood Playhouse, adults 2:30-4, kids and teens, 4-6.  More details will be available soon.

** I am considering adding a class for adults- Dancer’s Warm-up Workout, Tuesdays at 8am and Thursdays at 12:15. I am looking for feedback from the working ladies to see if this meets their schedules, as I am hoping to offer this to the general public, not ballet specific. It will be a combo of pilates, ballet barre and yoga stretching, just as dancers might do to warm up for class and performance.
