Dancewear sale

Kevin, from Threadbare Dancewear, will be down on Monday, October the 17th, time to be determined soon.  For those of you not able to come that day, I have prepared a shopping list and order form.  Please wait until then to purchase any dancewear, unless you can drive to his store in Arcata.  Thank you for your patience!

Main studio

Pre ballet with Nina (ages 3 -5) combo class, younger students excused early as needed: Wednesdays 3:15

Intro to ballet  (ages 5-6) with Kathy: Tuesdays 3:30-4:15

Ballet 1 (ages 6-9) with Kathy: Tuesdays 4:15-5:00
Thursdays 4:15-5:00

Ballet 2 (ages 9-11) with Natalie: Mondays 4:15-5:00
Wednesdays 4:15-5:00

Ballet 3 (ages 11-13) with Kathy: Tuesdays 5:00-6:15
Thursdays 5:00-6:15

Ballet 4 teens with Kathy: Wednesdays 5:00-6:30

Teens contemporary with Islay: Mondays 5:00-6:00

Pointe with Kathy: Mondays 6:00-6:30

Adults: Tuesday’s 10:30-12:30
Thursdays 10:30-12:30

Jessie will offer a “workshop” to prepare a piece for the recital, starting sometime mid-session.  Classes will be on Thursdays at 3:30. We will post the dates later.

 NO CLASSES Thanksgiving week
 Please note that we are planning to do our Spring Recital at the end of April this year, the week of April 24-30, in an attempt to avoid end of the year scheduling conflicts. Classes will continue until after the Summer Arts Fair in June, however

Rates and fees
 Registration $10 per year per family, usually paid in September
 Costume use fee, usually paid in September – pre ballet and intro to ballet- $35 per year, Upper levels- $50 per year
 Classes
1x week $144 pre ballet, intro to ballet, and ballet 1 coming only 1 day a week
2x week $264 ballet 1 coming both days
2x week for Combo classes for ballet 2, 3, & 4 $360

Schedule detail

I had an opportunity to talk with Jessie and saw that I had a misunderstanding about what she would like to do. She wants to participate in the winter recital, so we are planning a tap “workshop” for a few weeks before the show for those dancers wishing to do a tap piece in the recital. The classes will meet on Thursdays at 3:30, as before. We have not decided the startup date.
 
Please respect Jessie’s need to rest and heal and direct any questions you may have about the workshop to me, rather than contacting Jessie. Once we have picked the dates, it will be posted here.
 
The recital takes place the weekend of December 9,10,11, at the Redwood Playhouse, with rehearsals during the preceding week.
