SoHum Dancing is located in Southern Humboldt County, CA.  Our focus is ballet training based on the syllabus of The Royal Academy of Dance, a long standing  international organization based in London, England, UK, dedicated to promoting a well-rounded ballet  education around the world.

We present two performances each year, one celebrating the winter holiday season, and one at the end of the school year.  Classwork demonstrations also provide the students opportunities to show off the skills they have been studying in class and open rehearsals prepare the students for performing, while giving families a glimpse of upcoming performances.

Our yearly schedule is based on the public school year, commencing the week after Labor Day, and ending after our spring performance.  Our summer session takes place for 1 or 2 weeks after the 4th of July holiday.

The goal of SoHum Dancing is to provide high quality ballet education in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for our SoHum community.
