Fall session 2023

Ballet classes for all ages to start soon!

The fall session of ballet classes for children, teens, and adults will start in September. Classes will be taught by Natalie Gage, Alisa Dillon-Ogden, and Katherine Wolman. The session will conclude with a performance presented by SoHum Dancing the weekend of December 9-10 at the Redwood Playhouse.

The following classes will take place at the Align studio, located at 923 Redwood Drive, in Garberville, starting the week of the 11th:

Pre ballet ages 3-4,Tuesdays at 3:30, taught by Alisa Dillon-Ogden

Ballet 2, ages 8-9 Mondays at 3:30

Ballet 3, ages 10-13, Wednesdays at 4:00

Beginning adult ballet, Tuesdays at 5:15

Intermediate adult ballet, Wednesdays at 5:15, taught by Katherine Wolman

Modern dance for preteens/teens, Tuesdays at 4:15

The following classes will take place at the Redwood Playhouse, located at 286 Sprowel Creek Road in Garberville starting the 6th:

Ballet 1, ages 5-7, Wednesdays at 3:30, taught by Natalie Gage

Following is more information on the schedule:

Fees, all dancers:

Annual costume use fee

$35 that covers both performances, or $25 for one session/performance

Class fees for ballet 1 with Natalie, fall session starting Wednesday September 6, 13 weeks

*no classes Thanksgiving week:

ballet 1 $195

Class fees for SoHum Dancing, starting Monday, September 11, 12 weeks of classes,

*no classes Thanksgiving week:

pre-ballet, ballet 2 and modern: $180

ballet 3: special note- class will occur once a week on Wednesdays at 4pm for the first six weeks, then an additional class will be offered on Mondays at 4:30 for the second six weeks for more show preparation

if only attending once a week:$180

if also attending twice a week: $234

Adults: sliding scale $10-$15 per class

Please note that no student will be turned away due to inability to pay. Please let us know if your dancer needs a scholarship. We always appreciate extra help during performances.

Looking ahead, the winter/spring session will begin January 15, 2024, with the end of year performance the weekend of May 4-5.
